Hi, I’m Jessica, the owner of Compassion First Counseling. I’m so excited that you are here, and I’m hoping you will find a place here that feels warm, welcoming, and tender toward you even on your worst day.

My practice is rooted in the belief that true healing and growth naturally unfold when we turn toward ourselves with gentleness and compassion, even the parts of us that we’ve judged as “bad” or “scary.” Sometimes we strive so hard to run away from pain, that we end up running away from ourselves in the process, leaving those vulnerable, hurt parts of us feeling alone and stuck.

I want to to give you a safe, compassionate space to tend to those broken places that are in desperate need of care and compassion.
