Finding the right counselor for you is so important. Let’s see if we are the right fit. Here are the services I provide and the types of clients I work best with.
I might be the right fit for you if you relate to any of these questions:
Do you find yourself pleasing and appeasing others frequently, but have trouble deciding what YOU really want? Are you good at caring for others, but lose yourself in the process?
Do you want to gain insight into why you keep repeating unhealthy patterns in your relationships?
Are you hard on yourself? Do you judge yourself harshly and have a hard time cutting yourself slack? Do you feel like you need to be perfect and perform in order to be ok?
Do you have big emotions and often feel misunderstood, judged, or unseen? I myself am a highly sensitive person and thoroughly enjoy working with this population.

Therapy for Children and Families
I have had 15 years of experience working with children and families. In my sessions I utilize play, movement, art, and building playful, collaborative rapport. I thoroughly enjoy equipping families to support their kids through developing strong connections and supports at home. The most effective therapy I’ve done with children has involved partnering with parents in creating supportive environments at home that foster wellbeing for the whole child, mind, body, and soul. I work best with children ages 7 and up (exceptions for younger children on a case by case basis).
I utilize TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) to give families tools to support their kids to overcome trauma and obstacles. through genuine connection and relationship.
I also enjoy working with adolescents on a wide range of issues such as perfectionism, issues with parents, anxiety, anger, relationships with peers, or loneliness and isolation
Integrating Christian Counseling (upon request)
I understand that each individual faith journey is different, with its unique set of challenges. I have had my own complex journey with faith and Christianity, going through a season of personal deconstruction, followed by a more holistic integration of my faith. I understand the complexities in this space, the trauma that can happen here, and the deep desire to be seen and understood by someone who gets it, without being judged. I would be honored to walk alongside you, wherever you are in your faith journey. I will never push an agenda on you; I will not “should” on you or shame you for where you are at. I will only offer deep compassion for your unique experience in this area. And perhaps even help you to untangle from some unhealthy religion and integrate into a more compassionate view of yourself.
